Be inspired in 2018 by flying with birds

Here we are. Getting ready for a year of inspiration and influence through learning, reading, exploring and viewing.

The first thing i wanted to share with you in 2018 is this rather amazing video of Frenchman, Christian Moullec, who literally flies with birds. This video from National Geographic, shows the amazing beauty captured during Christian's journey but also represents how passion for something can translate into lifelong fulfilment.

He takes tourists who come from all walks of life to enjoy this 35-minute flight. What started as a conservation mission has inspired his respect for nature, which Christian conveys to his passengers.

As the video shows, getting this close to something so natural in a bird's life is truly a unique experience.

Once upon a time, when i worked in retail i was caught up in the whirlwind that involved trying to balance my part time earnings (while i studied) with my never ending spending. Time and time again i had to ask people at the cash register the same question of how they would part with their money to purchase their new found clothing. Would they be paying with cash, credit card or a savings account. For many it seemed credit was the most viable option, which i never understood as i believe it's the equivalent of spending money you don't have so you have no business in spending it anyway, but each to their own i suppose. Finally one customer came to make his purchase and i asked that famous question: "Will that be cash, credit or savings?" He answered with a sigh, "don't you mean slavings?!" A test for true love

Don’t fall in love with someone who says the right things, fall in love with someone who does the right things. Robert Tew This rule applies to every relationship you have in life, not necessarily just your significant other. It really does work. A person's true feelings are often more than what they express verbally, it's just hard sometimes to try and look for those other signs because the words come so easily and are much louder and more obvious to digest. But look closely and pay attention to how a person treats you to learn how they really feel about you. I hate to admit it but the cliche of actions speak louder than words is totally accurate here. I hope you all find someone out there that shows you just the way they feel.
